The restaurant is the member of Costes brand located in Ráday street, chosen the 25th best restaurant in the world, and having been awarded with a Michelin star for the first time in Hungary.
Chef of Costes Downtown, Tiago Sabarigo, run the hotel restaurant kitchen under the professional supervision of Portuguese celebrity chef of Costes, Miguel Rocha Vieira.
In addition to catering to all food needs of the hotel guests, Costes Downtown is of course open to guests stopping by from the street. With a friendly bistro feel, yet fine dining standards, the restaurant offers the special breakfast in Budapest, as well as business lunch at special prices varying on a weekly basis and world-class dining experience to gastronomy lovers. Comfortable Spanish nutwood chairs, special plant arrangements, hanging garden wall, and contemporary Hungarian paintings from Zsuzsanna Csiszér to Hajnalka Tarr, by courtesy of private collector Károly Gerendai, are combined to lend the restaurant an unforgettable feel enhanced by the special tones of Tom Dixon lights.
